I will dominate 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Anthony Joshua

Anthony Joshua and Jake Paul face-off

The British boxer will face the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be streamed in real-time on the streaming platform.

British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the two fighters came face-to-face to promote next month's boxing match.

Ex two time unified boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, theoretically, a massive mismatch - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.

Boxer's Attitude

"I plan to break his face and hurt his body. I aim to demonstrate my superiority," the British boxer, 35 years old, said.

"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.

"I will genuinely try to hurt him. That's my intention."

Respectful Exchange

Despite those words, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally recognized for his theatrics - shared friendly words and remained civil with each other.

Paul rather attacked former Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian declined a fight offer.

Targeting Tyson Fury

Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Tyson Fury - and rejected a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.

"Jake Paul is better than Fury - he's actually sitting here," the boxer said.

"I respect him for that."

Legitimate Opponent

Despite stating he plans to punish Paul, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's boxing ability.

"Jake is a legitimate boxer," he stated.

Paul's History

Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the television network - has primarily fought MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.

He lost to British fighter Tommy Fury in last year.

Commercial Success

However, the inexperienced fighter remains one of boxing's greatest financial successes, frequently receiving massive financial rewards.

Prediction and Belief

The 28-year-old anticipated a knockout win in rounds four or five and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is reportedly in the works for 2026.

"It will be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul stated.

Size Disparity

As Joshua and Paul participated in the traditional confrontation, with their height and weight contrast evident, it drove home just how surprising this whole event is - and how remarkable it is that the fight is really proceeding.
